So, after a rather busy day at work, i finally managed to find a couple of minutes to myself to just about do as i please. Essentially, for the past 8 hours, minus half an hour for lunch, i have been rigorously dealing with archiving documents, arranging them in chronological order and filing them away. Not the most fun in the entire world, but at least i was doing something, which is more than can be said for the days i had spent at home doing a grand total of nothing. I am extremely fatigued now though, i must say that i nodded off once or twice here in the office, even taking a short nap on the sofa on level two for a while. whoops. Anyway, so here i sit, listening to my itunes on a ridiculously low volume so that i would be able to hear anyone in the office holler for my assistance, in the relative silence of the MOE office, save the low hum of the printer and the tap-tap sounds of people typing on their keyboards, and just typing the first things that come to mind onto my blog. Honestly, i dont have a real motivation for today's post other than wanting something other than work to do. I guess it's just that recurrent need to go against the system. So, I'm quite pleased. The week has come to a close and, by golly, i've earned more than a hundred dollars. Really, making money does feel really awesome. The knowledge that my little bank account is slowly filling with money resulting from my personal toil is actually oddly satisfying. Like my hard work is coming to fruition. Yeah, so in essence, i'm pretty pleased with how this is going, even if it did require me to do a ridiculous, and i speculate unhealthy, amount of filing, as well as attain a papercut or two. At least i got something out of it. On a brighter note, i will be heading back down to Riders Lodge, Johore tomorrow. I'm rather excited for that, even if the trip is only a day trip, and i will be spending at most two or so hours at the place. Riders Lodge is undoubtedly my favorite place in the vicinity of Singapore, perhaps even beyond that, and any time that i can get to spend there is deemed extremely invaluable. So yes, i am pumped for my trip. Furthermore, it would prove to be good respite from work, even if it does involve physical exercise (insert a grimace here). Still, it is oddly relaxing, in an ache-inducing, sweaty kind of way, and is likely the only form of exercise, bar swimming, that i actually enjoy. On that note, Riders Lodge, here i come. (: So yes, this about concludes all i have to say for the day. Perhaps i shall have more to ramble on about when i return from Riders Lodge. Until then,
